I will tell you about some of the clubs in my university,okay?There is the Japanese Language Society which came up with many upcoming interesting events such as Japanese Language Classes,Bon Odori Trips,Japanese Culture Week and Japanese Cooking Classes.Their main attraction is the Japan Homestay Program.Students here would have the opportunity to stay in Hokkaido,Japan!Of course,I would’t join the cooking classes but I am interested in their Japan Homestay Program.There is a Robotic Club too.They have lots of competition on robots,Robotic Exhibition,Seminar Talks and Demonstration.I wonder if they could create a robot like the Transformers.Anyways,There is a Performing Arts Club which teaches students to act,dance,sing and event management.Here,students can join as many clubs as they want with no limitations.Thats good news for active and inactive students. You may be wondering how many clubs I join,right?I only joined 1 club. I don’t plan to join many clubs as I am afraid that I won’t have the time to do my assignments and homeworks.The one club that I am interested in is the Anime Club.lols.I am an anime lover.Thats why I choose this club. Since I only joined 1 club,I will have time to be active in this club.I have registered my name in the Daicon event. What is Daicon?Daicon is an event that all anime lovers,like me,are waiting for.Daicon an event where all anime lovers gather and have lots of interesting activities to join.I heard the seiyuu who voice play for the role Yuki Nagato (Chihara Minori) in Melancholy Haruhi Suzumiya will be there too as Daicon's special guest.Singapore's popular anime merchandise store Kareshi Kanojyo No Mise will be making its first appearance in Malaysia at the convention.As I am a collector of anime figures,I would never miss this oppurtunity to get my hands on some anime figures!There is a cosplay competition there too.Daicon is going to held in Cyberjaya,so,you will see me there.I don’t think you will even know whether I’m there or not.Nevermind,I just hope that I would enjoy myself there. I plan to join the Japanese Language Society next year as almost all my friends joined this club. Anime Club obviously uses Japanese as their main language,right?I plan to improve my Japanese language skills first before I join the Japanese Language Society. I heard this club even interview each of their members too.I don’t know what questions they would ask. I will ask my friends about that and get prepared.I have to see how busy I would be this year, then decide how many clubs I should join. I think I might only join these two clubs next year. I am not really an active person in sports, so, I’d rather go for indoor activities .A good idea, right? I did my first Chemistry experiment this week.It is the acid and base titration process.It's okay if you don’t know about it as I have taken a picture of my experiment’s end result.I am proud to tell you that my experiment was a success!I got the result that I wanted,with teacher’s guidance of course,and am happy about it.Next week,I will be doing 2 experiments,one on Biology and one on Physics.I am no longer lost in my university as I know where my classes are.I think I have adapted myself in my university surroundings. 2 Comments ● leave me one? Okay, I will tell you something about myself. I am 18 this year and taking Foundation In Biological Science. I had to take 5 subjects for this foundation: Biology, Physics, Chemistry (the subject I hate most),English and a Laboratory subject (consisting of Biology, Physics and Chemistry laboratory experiments).I don’t understand why should I be taking Physics? My foundation is called Biological Science, doesn’t that means that I only need to know about Biology and Chemistry? I actually don’t mind studying Physics but I had to face the fact that I must take Chemistry.*sigh* Before entering for classes,I have to download lecture notes online in the university's website and print it out.Every student here has their own ID number so,whenever I enter the university's website,I just need to login using my ID number to obtain my lecture notes.I was shocked that I could actually download notes for all chapters.This does make the teacher's work easier.Sometimes,it would be troublesome for students to download the notes if the internet connection is very slow. In my classroom, there are only 26 students taking this foundation course. It is a small classroom so, we are able to concentrate more in class. I finally get to see the lecturers this week. The lecturers are nice and friendly. They always smile to us and greet us back whenever we greet them. I understand what they teach in class and I was happy that I have no homework!Of course there will be no homework,it is just the first week anyway,so,I might as well enjoy my weekends this week. The library there is so high tech.You can see whether the book you're looking for is in the library by entering the university's library website (wow,even the library has a website!).You can even get the content of those books online as well.It is three storeys high.I often go to the second floor as Science books are located in that floor.You can even surf the net there too as there are computers provided for students.Although surfing the net there is free of charge,I heard that the internet connection there is kinda slow. The library is air-condition so it is my favourite place to go during my free time.Nobody actually monitors what you do in the library.You can be sleeping away in the library and nobody will scold you or wake you up from your sleep.I don't borrow or read any books there yet.The books there are so thick and heavy.I don't think I would borrow any books for now. My time table seems complicated as well.On Mondays,my class starts at 9 in the morning and ends at 5 in the evening.On Tuesdays,my class starts on 8 in the morning and ends at 6 in the evening!!That is really late.On Wednesdays,my class starts on 8 in the morning and ends at 3 in the afternoon.Finally,I can go home early.On Thursdays,my class starts at 8 in the morning and ends at 5 in the evening.The most happiest part is I have no classes on Fridays!!Although I have no class on Fridays,I have a very cramp time table from Mondays to Thursdays.This is very tiring. I have not even join any clubs and societies yet!I will make sure that the clubs I choose will not be on a Friday.Some clubs have weird time table as they end as late as 10 o’clock night!I plan to join the Anime Club and Japanese Cultural Club but I don’t know what time the club starts and ends.Looks like I have to wait to find out more about all the clubs and societies in my university.There are many interesting clubs and societies for me to join but I have to see whether those clubs clash with my time table or not! I plan to watch the Korean series called Sassy Girl Chun Hyang tonight.I have watched it once on tv 2 years ago and I like the storyline of the movie.I managed to buy the series of this movie too.You can get the synopsis of this story on Wikipedia.I actually felt sad for Byun Hak-Do.He really loved Chun Hyang but was she loves Mong Ryong instead.Although I don’t like the ending of the story,I still like this series and the way Mong Ryong and Chun Hyang communicate with each other.Since there is no classes tomorrow,I will watch as many episodes as possible tonight!  I also managed to draw another character today.He is a character from Detective Conan.He is actually Sonoko's boyfriend.  I am actually shocked to see my blog's stats.I didn't know that there are people reading my blog.I am happy to see my stats and hope the number increases.I have added two new widgets in my blog.One is at the bottom page in my blog.Just scroll down and you will see L's bobble head.That is the first time I see L smiling.The other widget is the clock.The clock features Sesshoumaro from the anime series,Inuyasha. The first day of the orientation was kinda boring as we were too quiet.The seniors were in charge of the orientation week so, we were scared that they would bully us new comers!They group us 2000 students into 4 groups called Yellow, Red, Blue and Green.I was in the Green group.Every group must choose their animal mascot.The task of choosing the animal mascots are given to our group seniors and they have actually chosen their mascots even before we came here! My group (Green) choose monkeys as their mascot (although I have no idea what has monkeys have to do with green).The Red group choose bulls as their mascot (I remembered about a drink called Red Bull.lols..) while the Blue group choose wolves (wow).The Yellow group choose a animal mascot which is not really an animal that is a Pikachu.Well,Pikachu is yellow in colour which has connection with the Yellow Group.Why did my group choose MONKEYS?!!Then,I noticed that the seniors in my group are actually the most active and wackiest bunch out of all the 4 groups.I guess now you should have known why they choose monkeys. My group freeshies were very quiet as we don’t know anyone there and have not had the chance to make friends with anyone.The seniors were upset with us as this is not the kind of ‘monkeys’ they wanted to see.There was the ice-breaking activity and we started to have lots of friends and fun doing group activities. From the second day onwards,things started to get even fun and livelier as we were beginning to be more noisier in the hall.We even started to bully the seniors too.lols.That was bad of us.During this orientation week,food is provided for us.There was once where one of our seniors told us an advice which sounded quite funny.He actually wanted us to throw the rubbish into the rubbish but instead he said this to us :”Remember to throw the dustbin into the rubbish bin.”He said it out so loudly that I can’t help laughing at that funny sentences.The other seniors started to tease him with that sentences.lols..We played lots of weird games.Being in Malaysia,there are a lot of traditional games to play but half of the games I played were games that I have never played before such as ‘telefon karat’,'raja botol’,’kereta api’ and more..They also had a Sports Carnival for freeshies too.This carnival helps groups to earn points.In short,I really had a lot of fun although I had to go home at 7 o’clock night on certain days. Then there was the closing ceremony.This is the time we do our part as a Green member.I was extremely happy that our team won the Orientation Week!!!I was so sad that this orientation has come to an end.I was really having so much fun playing with the seniors.The seniors really made our Orientation Week a memorable one for all of us as they had worked hard to make this week a success. I managed to sketch an anime character.Sketching anime character is my hobby and it is not an expensive hobby as you will only need a pencil and paper.I draw characters from animes that I have watched and by reffering to pictures that I have in my desktop.I draw boy and girl characters depending on my mood,of course.It is one way of releasing stress.  Well,looks like I will be busy with my first week of studies next week.*sigh* Now,I will have to face the books again.I better get prepared with my studies now.
