What is mitosis?Mitosis is the process which requires a eukaryotic cell to separate the chromosomes in its cell nucleus into two identical sets in two nuclei.There are several phases in mitosis-Prophase,Metaphase,Anaphase,Telophase and Cytokinesis. I did the experiment but sadly,it was a failure.We used a root of an onion for this experiment.I think my group members must have overheated the root cell of the onion as I can't really see the mitosis process through the microscope at all. I managed to get the picture of the mitosis process for each stage.So,this solves my homework.lols.     |
